CG Scene
Rocket About this Demo
This short CG scene showcases a 3D model of a flying model rocket. It highlights how simple bezier curves can be used to create realistic flight paths set against a high resolution HDRI sky. To achieve efficient smoke effects,
volumetric clouds were used in Blender Eevee, significantly reducing render times compared to Cycles. Finishing touches include a noise modifier applied to the camera, creating a dramatic shake effect that enhances the sense of motion and excitement.

Game Demo
Khan 2D About this Demo
This Unity 2D demo recreates the iconic
Battle of the Mutara Nebula as seen in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. The demo highlights the use of particle effects to bring the nebula to life, shading techniques for more realistic spaceship and environment rendering, and simple physics for authentic spacecraft movement. The demo incorporates basic user input controls, allowing players to engage with the game world..

This demo is an educational Star Trek fan production and provided for non-commercial purposes. Star Trek and all related artwork, music and trademarks are the property of Paramount Global. This project is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Paramount Global.

About this Demo
This demo is a playable Unity 3D recreation of a target practice scene inspired by Star Trek: The Next Generation. It showcases typical game development techniques, including:
C# to dynamically modify game objects and components in real-time, creation of intuitive user interface elements, and implementation of immersive audiovisual elements, including 3D positional sound, particle FX, lighting, and animation that contribute to the gaming experience. Additional 3D modeling 3D was performed in Blender to enhance visual fidelity.

Gameplay involves shooting red cubes for 6 points each, while blue cubes add 3 seconds to your time limit. Beware of green cubes representing friendlies - hitting these will deduct 14 seconds from your remaining time.

Simulation Solar System Simulation
About this Demo
This demo presents a simplified, not-to-scale model of our solar system, featuring the Sun and the inner planets from Mercury to Jupiter. Created in the Unity 3D game engine, this project demonstrates several key 3D rendering and game development techniques: Realistic texture mapping and lighting brings each celestial body to life within a dynamic visual environment. The experience is further enhanced by 3D positional sound, adding an immersive audio dimension. Basic movement mechanics allow users to navigate the solar system, all set against a visually striking skybox that simulates the vast expanse of space. While not astronomically accurate, this mock-up highlights how game engines like Unity can be used to create compelling simulations.
